Is it possible to have a semi-safe setup when emuNAND is out?
On 3DS you could use one microSD with sysNAND and emuNAND and as both used different encryption, the part that goes online won't see unsigned installed titles.
On switch it seems that the directories aren't console specific, so does one need an additional microSD?
And more importantly, was a service found that can be used like tinyFormat did on 3DS?

A little question on installing nsp update and DLCs using tinfoil. Could there be a prerequisite issue between the two? Say for splatoon 2, I have a 2GB update and the octo expansion DLC. Does the DLC depend on the update? How do I tell? If that is the case, what happens if I install the DLC without the update?
That is a very good question I have thought about myself but do not know the answer. Tinfoil is not developed by Rajkostco and as of the lastest RajNX release is not included in the download so it would probably be best to ask this question in the Tinfoil thread or noob thread. Since DLC is strictly optional I have played it safe and applied updates first, but understand it would be nice to just load up tinfoil with a mixed bag of crap and select Install All.

If the DLC requires an update of the game, the game will not boot and will request you to download the update first.

When you go Launch firmware from the bootloader, you pick the launch configuration you want. Don't pick the PreventGCUpdate ones unless you specifically need that.

Ok thanks , how can i default this option?

"enable autoboot for it from the config menu (2nd menu option->autoboot)
Then holding VOL- cancels autoboot while logo is shown"

Anybody know how to get to maintenance mode with AutoRCM activated? Want to flush out some titles from main page - a result of broken install (can't just goto options and delete).

The order doesn't matter at all. Also you can install only an update or base game or DLC. Worst case would be the game won't appear (no base game installed) or won't boot (update required) but if at least the two components base game and (newest) update are installed, it should boot no matter in which order you installed things.
So yeah, batch installing a mixed bag of crap is completely fine if you have enough free space.
