sorry i meant the piracy only actives when downloading a game via freeshop (sleepmode) all the games you allready installed are fine so yes you are safe well i deleted freeshop but it depens on you

Can Nintendo detect my pirated games that I already have once I update to 11.8, or am I completely safe since they just added the ticket thing? There is no way of Nintendo finding my past pirated games since they just recently implemented anti piracy?

yeah they shouldnt be able to because the new update aplys only while a game is being downloaded from the freeshop with sleep download
and not while you play them so youll be safe and you can still use fbi to install cias

All in all, I should just stay on 11.7 for now? And .CIAs can be used online unless they are early released?

Not really. 11.8 is recommended to not use freeshop sleepmode downloads. Yet is still somewhat early to really say what to fully do on these

Actually isn't it only if you press the sleep icon on touchscreen or X/Y button (forgot exactly which)? If you literally close the lid on a normal freeShop download, it would just stop AFAIK.

Ya. I think that is how the sleepmode works is when those are selected from within freeshop.

At this point in time. I have no clue when or even if its ever gonna be SUPER safe on 11.8

It doesn't matter how you update.

AFAIK it only works on 11.8 but they are going to force updates soon, so when that happens, downloading via freeShop on 11.7 is a red flag.

Could you link me to them? Also, would you know if freeshop is useless now? Should I just delete it and stay on 11.7 for now installing .CIAs instead once games come out? And can my pirated games still be detected even though they were downloaded before 11.8 and the anti-piracy measures?

I don't know about freeShop. I'm guessing it will just stop working once they make 11.8 mandatory for eShop.
