The remake of the second Yakuza game, Yakuza Kiwami 2, is headed westward. SEGA has put out a trailer for the upcoming English release, teasing the story, and showing the Dragon of Dojima do what he's known for: fighting against hordes of enemy Yakuza clans. The game is set for an August 28th release, as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, though that might change in the future, as the series is soon to debut on PC. For PlayStation 4 owners, a demo is currently now on the North American and European PlayStation Store.

One of the most beloved storylines in the franchise's history has returned in full HD in the Dragon Engine for PlayStation®4. Kazuma Kiryu thought his Tojo Clan days were behind him. He and his young ward, Haruka Sawamura, have built a peaceful life from the ashes of conflict. All it took was a single gunshot to shatter that peace. With war on the horizon, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the world he wanted to leave behind.

Beyond he fact its a remake thus the story is known
By virtue of the fact that it's been out since December in Japan full let's plays are available to see the new graphics

yeah, i don't know how you can 'tease' the story of a game that came out in 2006/2008 in english

Its a good time to fix that problem. Its my favorite video game series of all time and I would start with 0. 4 is my favorite so far because of playing many different characters. I hope they continue to make more games in the series. I am also buying their fist of the north star game (lost paradise).

I always pre-order the most premium edition and even bought Yakuza 0 on steam to show support.

It's worth it sir, personally I feel like the series is a hidden gem, as not many people have played them but their superb.

Hopefully we get Virtua Fighter 3 in Kiwami 3 since there was never a port to anything else and that game is legendary.
