Hi guys, I may need some help here. I have a 128GB Samsumg EVO SDXC, but every time I try to download new content to it, the switch just throw me this error message.
Some people say that this means the SD has no memory left, but I'm able to use the 128GB with the PC, so it's not the case. I tried this things:
  • Formated with windows.
  • Formated with the Switch.
  • Formated with SD formater.
None of this seems to work. Some strage thing is that when I updated (from 4.1 to 5.2) the console said it had to re-download the SDXC update, as if it'd never done it, but I've already did the first day I had it at home. I've use homebrew, but with a diferent 32GB SD to not mess this one up. Any clues?

I formatted my card fat32 and haven't had issues. I've heard exfat is better, but if your card passes using H2testw then I would try using a different format just to see.

Yeah, it did, I'll try what you said. Gonna back up all the data and do it.

Well I have several SD cards, one that I had an error with I did the H2testw on and the actual usable space was smaller than what the computer was reading. That was causing errors when I filled the card over the actual usable space. To fix it I used a partition manager and deleted the partition then created a new partition the size of the actual available space. I then did a surface test to ensure there were no errors and then formatted the card in fat32, though I don't see why exfat wouldn't have worked just fine.

That was my journey with this kind of error, I hope something there may be of help.

Yeah but I'm sure the SD has the amount of space I said, I also used back in the day H2testw to see it. Also, I noticed this only happends if I first start to download Arena of Valor. If I don't, it let me download anything. But as soon as I try this game, it throws the error message. This is getting wried.
