Why isn't this in the official Hekate CTCaer thread? https://gbatemp.net/threads/rcm-payload-hekate-ctcaer-mod.502604/it doesn't work like this.
There's an option in Tools menu.
This ^ is the official hekate CTCaer thread. The payload linked here is not compiled by me. It's not an official release. Why isn't this in the official Hekate CTCaer thread? https://gbatemp.net/threads/rcm-payload-hekate-ctcaer-mod.502604/
so now my switch is dead basically? mind running a look through your payload incase of a mistype in compiling ?
I see. Are you gonna compile it by your own and then release it on the official thread, then? This ^ is the official hekate CTCaer thread. The payload linked here is not compiled by me. It's not an official release.
Of course. When I fix all the bugs left.I see. Are you gonna compile it by your own and then release it on the official thread, then?
I only know 2 person that had problem. You and another one. The other just left it on their switch wall adapter and it eventually turned on.in the mean time can someone run test on current payload linked to see if same result or not?
8.3.1.2.2 Shipping Mode
When end equipment is assembled, the system is connected to battery through BATFET. There will be a small leakage current to discharge the battery even when the system is powered off. In order to extend the battery life during shipping and storage, the device can turn off BATFET so that the system voltage is zero to minimize the leakage.
In order to keep BATFET off during shipping mode, the host has to disable the watchdog timer (REG05[5:4] = 00) and disable BATFET (REG07[5] = 1) at the same time.
Once the BATFET is disabled, the BATFET can be turned on by plugging in adapter.
This is why i soldered my joycon contact pads together. No autorcm for me
We really need a warning about not having autoRCM on when using this. As I have heard, it does not play well with this software battery fix... You're switch might be gone dude I will look and see if I can find any info on this issue.yeah I only have auto rmc on as I damaged my last switch using a cable and awaiting a 3d printed jig in the post so I have really bad luck but nothing like this until now.
See thats what I was thinking would be needed, but I wanted to make sure first.I tweeted you about the problem on Monday. What I basically did was plugging off USB before hekate told me to. It ended up not bootable. I charged it for 2h and still nothing. Then I decided to open up my switch, disconnect the battery by hand, reconnect it after 1 minute and then it booted again. So it looks like plug off USB too early makes this a bit buggy, but still fixable
