It's hardware in addition to the CFW. Are you expecting somebody to give you a PCB, components, and a shell then assemble and ship the finished product to you for free? Everybody knows that the functionality of SX OS will be very quickly duplicated. I'm getting it because it's a nice little standalone payload injector. When an open source version comes out I'll assemble one. However, it still won't be free. It will take time and money. Unless you just mean free in the freetarded sense. Then yes, the $20 dongle that you assemble yourself will be free.

You don't need it to connect to the switch, it's for connecting the dongle to a computer to update firmware, I expect.

and to charge the dongle I think, it takes like 5 seconds to charge but it needs power

gateway users was never shamed. sure there was a few fanboys who talked nonsense all day long but gateway made a memory editor that was never on other cfw.

u can say NTR allowed cheats too but that's not the same thing as alot of user made cheats were converted from gateway and if you don't know about this, you obviously know nothing about what you are talking about
