I know this is old, but I just felt like commenting. Sad fact: there are no decently powerful 7 inch tablets anymore. The 7 inch tablets they have out now are actually less powerful than the one I got almost 4 years ago (asus memo pad me572c). Either they aren't popular anymore, or manufacturers just don't think they will sell. It's a real shame. I really love the 7 inch form factor. Currently the best and most powerful android tablet available is the huawei mediapad M5. It's 8 inches. It's $320. On Amazon and Newegg.
Look up the Galaxy Note 8, it's not quite a tablet but it has a significantly larger screen
