so you need a USB type c cable, does it matter what brand you get.

if it does, can you recommend me the best one for a cheap price.

the switch somewhat demands a cable with 56k ohm resistance or something.
those should be standard at this point so anything that has the usb certificate sign on the cable should work

Is this still a thing? How many times should this be debated? It doesn't matter what resistance rating you use especially if you're just going to use it as data cable. Different usb cable resistance will only differ in charging speed.

i mean, as a data cable, the resistance shouldn't matter since a pc or smartphone wont throw out high charge, yes.
but how quickly is that ignored and the cable is used for a high power powerbank?
since it should be all but standard now, again, also shouldn#t really matter anymore, but you know, when people buy a cable for 2 bucks it may or may not be just the right ammount of cheap and dangerous to cause a problem worth mentioning

Don't worry. No matter how powerful you power source is as long as it's in the same rated voltage. Your device will only accept what it can. This isn't a common knowledge so I'm explaining it calmly.

A usb cable with higher resistance will draw more power from the source but that extra power will be dissipated as heat from the cable's resistance, the switch will still accept what it only can.

So having a horrible resistance rated usb cable will not damage your switch but your charging won't be efficient.

but that is female to male, it should be male to male if you are going to plug that on a computer that is not a dongle.... you can always put a extra male male usb cable to do it but....
