Hacking will this work or just another fake?

so recently got a ps3 that opens on the top thats version 4.82 forced onto me, so best to make full use it. i want to homebrew it like i did my psp & wii, so when i was looking up whether it was hack-able or not i mostly got stuff saying it wasn't and sites like this.

Look up PS3Xploit V3.0, it supports 4.82 on slimv2 and superslim.

the most convenient is to have internet since you have to download files, but I heard there are ways to do it offline with a certain chip. not sure about the details though. But yeah PS3Xploit 3.0 is the way to go since it looks like you have a superslim

You can host the files locally, but you'll need something the ps3 can access which runs a web server.
