On the root of my SD card, there is arm9.bin, boot.3dsx, decrypt9.log, hourglass.log, otherapp.bin and soundhax
So does it not respond at all when you plug in the SD card into the PC? or does it show that you need to check the disc before you can get access?

What I am wondering now is that if you had A9LH properly installed, cause it involving transferring to 2.1.0-4U back in the day. Check if you have an OTP file?

Where is it located?
if you read the guide carefully and follow all the steps listed it shouldn't brick your system, just make sure you fully understand what the guide is asking you to do.

I have luma, when I go to Safehax after udsploit, i open the option of Luma
If you have luma. You should not be needing safehax or udsploit for anything at that point. Those I believe were only needed to run cfw from soundhax.

I think I installed it before Luma, also when I go to safehax after going to udsploit, it says "Luma3DS configuration" in the Heading and besides the option of Luma3DS which I use, there are other options of Decrypt9WIP, Hourglass9 and GodMode9.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
