Hacking Xecuter SX FAQ - Finally!

So much anti-piracy talk here....the whole purpose of the Xecuter SX is FOR piracy....that's it...it's not for home-brew. If you aren't looking for piracy, you can use the home-brew that is already available... not everything is compatible with 5.x, but still, it's better than nothing for now. Complaining about piracy in this thread is like going to a bar and complaining about people drinking alcohol....or going into a crack house and complaining about illegal drug use

Eventually, sure. The only reason to buy the TX solution right now is if you don't want to wait. I mean who knows? Atmosphere might release early just to spite TX. Either way, we have the tentative date of June 15th for shipment on pre-orders, that's good enough for me.

From what I remember gary said yes, you can swap out their payload for atmosphere, linux etc.

What i meant is can we transfer the licence so i can take it from one switch and put it on another.

No. It's linked to your console as mentioned in the faq.

I'd also like to know this. My son also has a switch and I only bought one dongle. At first I figured it'd just be as simple as using it twice in a row. But I'd also like to know this because if my switch breaks or something and I have to buy another, I don't want to have to buy another TX dongle just because of a dumb license. Since the license is for the software, I shouldn't have to buy another dongle.

You will simply have to buy another licence.

You can switch licences on one dongle to use on multiple consoles.

Using any sort of hack on your Switch will allow Nintendo to ban you. It doesn't matter if the hack is open source or not. If online gaming is important to you I suggest you purchase another Switch if you plan on hacking it.

Maybe a feature for a future release would include the ability to load multiple purchased licenses on the same dongle.

No way in hell would they let you transfer or you could let a friend borrow your license while you dont use your switch.

I think multiple licenses on the same dongle would be a better option. If I have to use my computer or something to switch licenses every time I want to use them on different switches, I'd have to also carry my computer with me. Might as well just load using RCM smash at that point.

Its very likely that TX will need to release new updates each time Nintendo improves stability.
