How to edit Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - easy

Super Easy Xenoblade Chronicles 2 save editor

I Have windows XC2 Save editor for people who want to customize their save

Things to be aware of:
Make sure you make a backup of your original save.
There can be bugs in just maxing out everything.
I recommend running template and looking threw it to understand the structure
also you can comment out values you don't want changed in the script with //


what you need
NEW UPDATED SCRIPT! x43x61x69 - thanks
check occasionally​
  1. Extract the XC2-Editor.zip
  2. backup your bf2savefile.sav
  3. copy into XC2-Editor
  4. run 010 editor
  5. open your save (bf2savefile.sav)
  6. click on run template -> select bf2savefile.1sc we downloaded from earlier. "

  1. click on run script -> select bf2savefile.bt
run script.png

Done !


Your output will look similar to this

You must have one of the item before it is Maxed out

Use your items and rerun

I get a error line 85 money is undefined using the updated script.

visit the github and download latest version if you are on latest download version prior.
how do you make it so that the script wont add another accessory slot to the drivers because I have two slots on each driver and when I run the script it adds another one which I don't want

You could run threw the template and 0 out entries for 3rd pouch slot

dont know if it would be behter to report it here or on the github page but all blades feeding affinity quests gets bugged out ussing this tool, they get filled out, folowed by not completting, resulting in no way to completem them even if manualy feed.
Yea it did that with Ursula but you gotta do any extra stuff to fix it.. like merc or get more items

If you still have the original save and don't want to edit your pouch slots, you can comment out or remove this line before you use it:

Not my commits or scripts, but it's C so not really hard to modified. (Tho I found that 010 scripts does not follow all C syntax as they said on their site.)
I just go check once in a while to see if there's anything new. A bit lazy to do the modifying, so I just edit out what I don't need.

Could you share how did you fix those bugged skill slots? I've tried sending those blades to merc missions and other stuff but none seemed to fix it..

I tried feeding Nia snowbaby potatoes but nothing happened. Her skill tree still says 4/4 but it's not completed.

After using the patch I am getting affinities with completed requirements that aren't awarding. Anyone have a fix? Like the ones where you put their favorite into the pouch.

I wonder if it's because their skills like strength are maxed to 5 with the patch.

Edit. Yeah I'm like 99% sure that's what's causing it. The system is reading for example poppi's nopronic iron at 5 so it's ignoring or not granting the 2nd teir based off pouch items even though it's 2/2.

No problem. Thank you for creating this in the first place. I'll look through and see if I can lower it down in the script.

quick question in the script what does each line in the items section represent in the game before I modify the script to decide what parts of the script I'll keep because even though some of them are clear on what they do some I don't know what they will do?
