I had a Lenovo thinkpad once as a company laptop and it works.As stated by @CrazyForCashews, the ones who did it say you need the super low profile caps. The other varieties by Lenovo does not work; you might be able to sand down the base to lower the height but there might be differences in their shaft diameter and center hole depth.

After all, the whole idea of C-stick nub is definitely insane. Dont know why nintendo decided to go for nubs. My hands are light and having to put all pressure just to use the c-stick has proven to be quite a stressful task to me.
Why does nintendo think its fun to play on a small immobile hard and absurd nub? They always find a way to fuck up one way or the other.
