Yes without a nunchuck, the Wiimote gets turned off once you load a game. It should work in Nintendont itself but once a game is loaded the Wimote will shutoff when nothing is connected to it.

buy a classic controller or wiiu gc adapter and a gc controller it also works on wiis not only wiius.
solo wiimote does not work as a controller so it will turn off automaticaly.

resident evil 4 randomly freezes during cutscenes with that annyoing sound bzzzzzz noise
particulary cutscene before the cabin fight freezes very often for me, either on start of the cutscene or when trying to skip it (freezes when i press skip button)
wii can be turned off with a single power button press, no need to hold it (if it helps)

resident evil works gret your probably forcing settings that game does not like or have a bad iso, if your forcing widescreen it can freeze manny games.
no, i'm not forcing anything, all of my settings are in my post
the only thing i forgot to mention that it is ciso image, but again, the freezes are not consistent
bad iso would make it freeze always int the same spot as i understand
also only other game i played recently was crazy taxi and i had no apparent issues with it

nope a bad iso can freeze whener it fells like, just take a pictrure of your nintendont settings, sometimes people think they arent forcing stuff and they have some setting toogled on by mistake, and i always used full isos so i never tryed any ciso, i know a full iso md5 checked does work.
even if its a phone photo its okay dont worry about the quality as long as one can se the settings screen.
haven't tried the game from full dump yet
well the only thing diferent from me is your using memory card multi instead of individual wich i use so im guessing its the ciso fault tbh, try using a full iso.
i tried full dump and it refused to freeze
then i tried ciso and it won't freeze either
tried to restart from checkpoint several times for both ciso and full dump
but i'm sure there is a problem there
it was freezing yesterday and three times today for me
i didn't change any settings, the only thing that changed i added full dump re4 disc1 iso

could have been your ciso that was bad convertion or badly passed to your sd or something, or your sd having reading issues who knows.

we had thousands of people playing re4 on nintendont since it was compatible and no one ever said anything about any freezings, i played it myself just as aot of people did too so yeah, if it was a nintendont issue it would freeze for everybody and not just you, your probably the first person to ever report a freeze on re4 as i recall really, i see manny games reported but never re4.
could be your hdd or something , try putting the iso on an sd card or another hdd and try it maybe?
