It's been on and off all day today. I've got some better analytics up and running and the amount of people using it has been insane, thousands of people in just hours. I'm definitely gonna need to add a fix for this, because the API key runs out too quickly. Thanks for using it and for bringing it to my attention.

Yeah no problem! It's insane how your website works to watch youtube videos on the switch. I admire your wok anyway. To help, I try to give as much feedback to make sure things work.

And yeah I just hated that you had to use Google Plus for watching videos so I thought I'd make this. Your feedback was really helpful because even though a ton of others have reached out to tell me about the search not working, it was nice to see it on here and it also encouraged me to find a way around that happening.

And also, I might add a feedback widget onto the page itself. That might be cool!

I know this isn't homebrew so not all of you are interested, but just thought I'd update this to let you all know that you can now search for channels and view it's videos through SwitchTube! It's pretty useful and was suggested a couple of times through the feedback section.

You know ...that page that i made on facebook so people can get to your page easy? I got like 200 today ,you should make this page part of your method its more easier and i put your name on the page too

Oh, nice! The only reason I haven't mentioned it is because I haven't mentioned Switchbru either, they also have a link set up and a mention of it using that method on their DNS page, so lots of people see it there. Thanks for you help.

They actually are useless video applet isn't working on their dns and your site isn't working on their dns hack.

What? They explicitly point out in their instructions that the DNS doesn't work so it's fine. Every other site works in their DNS so it's great. And I point out via a popup on my site that you can't use it if it finds them in the DNS trick.

Sidenote, I now have a way to let you sign in to the site using your YouTube account to view your subscriptions. It's a little bit strange, sometimes it closes the browser and doesn't let you log in but I've managed to get it to work once or twice. I'll do my best to fix it if I can but for now it is there.

its not working for me, i tried to sign in but it didnt work, now on the front page it shows pages with numbers, but none of them do anything, i cant even use search or trending,

Definitely not crunchyroll, but maybe some of those sites if I felt like it at the time. I am considering adding support for Twitch videos and clips - live videos won't work for that, but live on YouTube does.

Yeah. I'm really sorry about that. I managed to fix it as it was reported in both my feedback and on the SwitchBru Discord. It's now fixed. Was due to accidental errors I made in adding an update for additional pages in the search section - I'll add it back when I work out what the bug was. Very sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for using SwitchTube!

First, many thanks for this tool and your work. I really love it to watch youtube videos on my switch.
The second thing is, the Switch can't handle veeery long YT videos. Yeah, I mean the many hours videos. Is there a way, for you or for me, to fix that somehow?

Thank you very much for using it! I haven't had the time to do it as much lately but that's why I made it, it's the perfect device for watching YouTube.

Hmm, that's interesting. Unfortunately if that's a device issue, I can't really do anything to fix that from not working. Sorry about that!

That's all right. And who knows, maybe there will be a solution at some point. Especially until we hopefully get an official browser and/or a YouTube app soon.
