Okay, now im officially tilted.
Wasted 6 Hours to figure out how to install the hardmod.
Well it was pretty clear how to solder and what and where, but I don't understand how the 2DS knows that something is connected to it, so it switches into the "Bluescreen".
Well yeah I tried to do it, and some things didnt work out as you may have read in my last thread.
After several trys of booting the 2DS with the Soldered points to the SDCARD, the 2ds always booted in the freaking home menu, repeating this 3 times always gave me the same result so i thought: "Ok fk it, then no mod"
So I reassembled the 2DS, desoldered the joints and put it back together.
After it was assembled, I pushed the power button: Bootrom Error
I was like : you gotta be kidding me.
I tried rebooting 2 times and same result.
I removed the battery and put it back in.
Blackscreen, blue light turns on for about 3sec and turns off.

Any clue what that is?

Its booting up normally again. No CFW. Idk what im going to do with it now. Don't really wanna spend 40 bucks on a flashcard.
Maybe time will tell.

Did you actually plug the SD adapter into the SD reader? The bootrom error isn't supposed to show up unless it's plugged in the SD reader. The error just shows up because the NAND is plugged into two things at once and the 3DS doesn't know how to handle that.

You only need a few bucks for a DSiWare game. https://gbatemp.net/threads/seedminer-single-system-dsiware-injection.495685/

Wait what?
Its possible to go for the DSI ware method alone?
I thought you need someone with a system thats already hacked.

And yeah, well I won't try the hardmod again with this 2ds, because the golden contact broke off, and sticking the wire is just too time consuming for me, because you never know if it actually has contact or not, pretty annoying.

For pete's sake. Read and be careful with your electronics before attempting any system mods.

There are flashcarts that enable you to install the CFW without messing with the hardware.

It's a $70+ piece of kit. Why?
