Hacking Send a Pokémon Crystal VC Save up

Is there any way (I’m aware it’s not legit) of sending a Pokemon from Crystal (virtual console) to HGSS. I got a shiny Chikorita as starter on Crystal and I’d like to playthrough HGSS again. Help?

You can use the drag and drop method in pkhex using both of your saves, but other than that the VC is kinda locked in with gen7 using legit methods.

You can always just gen a pokemon that looks exactly like it would coming from gen 2 with pkhex.
