can someone please confirm if this is lower than 4.55? the seller told me it is sealed and never been open. date of purchased is november 2016. ps4 slim CUH-2006A B01. tia!

Firmware 4.55 was released in April 2017, so if its never opened and from nov 2016 the firmware should be lower
Those digits are region identifiers. You are seeing 16 cause you are in Europe. 15s are in the USA.
Nope, I am in the USA. And this is in a Target store (regional chain).
I am seeing 7115B, not 7116B. Is it possible the US one has a different firmware?
As I said in the first post, I highly doubt 71xx would have a good firmware in any region as that hardware revision was released late 2017 and the 4.7 firmware was released in June 2017.
To be certain, we need something manufactured before June.
GT Sport was released mid October, so any bundles containing it will be 4.7+, most likely 5.00+
Would the call of duty infinite warfare bundle that GameStop sells be on lower then 4.55 I would assume so since it was released in 12/16

Also the Gran Turismo Sport Limited Edition 1TB? Wikipedia says 4.55 but I'm not that rich to experiment.
Can you post a link to wikipedia saying that? GTS was released too late and I have never seen anyone posting it's safe. Also if the pic you posted is from that bundle - the P/N is too high according to kei_dash's chart

@K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
