You don't need to split anything into more than 2 parts. FAT32 supports up to 4GB.

MPT works fine with modern loaders and cIOSes without any special settings. You have to save to the real NAND instead of emulated NAND, though. Same with Zelda: Skyward Sword.

As long as it's compatible and formatted right the worst you should have to do is delete the loader's config file and set it up again. :)

i thought it would be easy as swaping game discs.. I should have bought something bigger than 32GB. I hope i dont need to do that every time when playing from 2nd storage device..either way ill buy one in the morning and we'll see if i spend 15 bucks for nothing.

additionally to what greywolf said (which were right) :
- what the purpose of a full channel when the homebrew requires an external device anyway to save settings, load games, etc.? just use the forwarder channel. I don't see any legit reason to use the full channel instead of the forwarder.
- users converted the full channel to be installable to vWii, but the code doesn't have a check for console type, it would have downloaded the Wii channel version on next channel update for both wii and vwii, breaking the vWii channel (and having users complaining the loader broke their setup).

I understand. But even without a SD Card or USB inserted, I was still able to boot VC games. So I'd still have something to do while transferring a large game or w/e.
That's all I wanted to know though, so thanks.

VC games only installed on NAND. but the loader tries to save the config file at loader exit, and the path (SD by default) doesn't exist. you also can't have any user setting (patch, video mode, etc.)
so, yes, you can launch VC on NAND, but its main function is launching USB games and having a graphical user interface.
if you launch VC on NAND, can't you use system menu?

You can't use a GC controller on System Menu, and Priiloader's title boot menu is buggy. I had it crash on me like five times a while back.

I have a huge problem regarding using this loader for using my 64 GB flash drive (SATA32). Its installing up to like 2,5% and then it freezes.
Things I got on my Wii Red Edition 4.3e:
-HBC
-Hack Mii
-Priiloader

cIOS I installed many of them. 236, 247, 248, 249 and 250. At the beginning it didnt recognize my flash drive, but it does now since I use iOS58 for the loader and 249 for games (thanks Cyan? from another topic).

You could say lets try CFG, but running it from the SD card gets me back to the main menu. With a forwarder I just get a black screen.

Please help me guys, wasted so many hours because I thought I could figure it out myself. I am eternally grateful if we can manage it together, hehe! Because I love my Wii and I want to keep my disc drive working.

At least in the WiiU it works with flash drives.

just because it works for you at the moment does not mean its prone to failure over time, or with different brands/models/etc. too many factors to consider. especially with the very high read/write numbers here.
I've used cheapo flash drives for years on Wii and Wii U with no problem. I've gone from playing Brawl mods daily to playing BotW on them with no problem.

I used two of these that were 8 GB for ~3-5 years I'd say. One's currently being used for playing Puyo Puyo Tetris and still no issues.

OK on the read, not with the write.

And your statement "Flash drives are not supported for the most part ): Try a HDD" is false, as they are supported for many of them, that of course, in higher versions wouldn't be able, as with every piece of software.
