Awww cr*p, now this has me worried. I'm in the US and ordered one off Amazon and it arrived today: Sealed New PS4 Slim 500GB Uncharted 4 Bundle - UCS CUH-2015A BO1X / P-27452375-H / S01-746xxxx.

Thought I had this nailed, now nothing but worries until I get home from work and plug her in. Will update findings tonight. Grrrrrrrrr...

Edit 1: Ok I can confirm that this came with OFW 3.55, yay me. Now I have this 500GB slim on 3.55 & also a 1TB slim on 5.05 purchased last year, which is waiting its turn for an exploit. Hope this helps someone else:

Yes I got 2 controllers inside the box as you can see on the box it self it has 2 controllers.

It's probably unlikely, more likely to be on FW 4.07 with that SN.

Hey,

I was looking at shops around my area. Unfortunately Pro's are either gone or with a high P/N (according to chart).

What I observed is that all Slim 500GB are with a P-27452437 P/N.
And I found some P-27452396-K 1TB consoles.

So I was wondering why is that? Do 1TB Slims have a lower turnover so that's why they keep older models?

Anyway, I should be safe buying a 1 TB slim with a ...396-K P/N and a low enough serial, right?

And I think I saw one console (unfortunately I did not take a photo to confirm) that if I remember correctly had a lower P/N number. Maybe ...300, but with a different letter in the end.
Does the end letter matter? Will a P/N like that be a safer bet than a ....396-K with a low serial?

In my area they are selling the PS4's all year round for almost double of what I could order one online from Amazon at Black Friday or other promos (and Amazon or another site would often also include at least one game or a controller), so I want to be sure that I can reuse it as a PC with Linux afterwards if I buy it.
