There has not been much discussion about the type of modification that the Team-Xecuter SoftMod will carry out for the Nintendo Switch. And I have several hypotheses. Among them the one that most caught my attention is to skip the panic button if Soft-Mod were to be made. Team-Xecuter are experts in modifying the hardware architecture and making the console grant permissions which should rather be prohibited. This is like incubating a parasite in the Console Hardware to do what you ask.

My first hypothesis is if the hardware modification is carried directly from the Processor, and from there to the NAND. As is well known, the processor carries fuses that are burned in one or another update. In some way the kit that requires welding, which will be for those who have the most recent update, will be directly soldered by the drivers that go to the processor, and that in some way or another carry the information of the fuses. Could it be an emulation of fuses?

In any case, the following kit, for those with lower versions, will not require welding, but will switch with the NAND memory, and the one that would carry a possible CFW ...

I must mention that the welding kit may also carry the same elements as the CFW only kit ... so the welding kit will have more elements and cost more.

All this is relative, let's wait for news next week. I will be updating this section.

Wait wait wait. We do not know that higher FWs will require soldering. Or have I missed something?

Shame you didn't think of this before making this thread. We already have the TX thread for things like this. There are way too many threads like this popping up and it's starting to grate on some of the members.

You claim there has not been much discussion yet the TX thread is 25 pages long. It's getting boring to see people posting things like this in an attempt to force "news or discussion"

The other issues have moved a lot away from what I really think about Team-Xecuter. Here I will update everything related to this project.

Please not another thread. :/ Just wait until they spread out some infos.
Why thinking about it now what it will be like, what color it has (pink?) and what it will smell like?

Unless its stickied, there is no need to create multiple threads. please comment on the one already there, and if its off subject then report them and move and ask questions that you want relevant.

If we report this thread will the mod lock/delete it or merge it with the same thread?
Judging by every other thread that gets made for every other thing, no.

OP. Your first sentence proves you haven't read the other threads. The type of MOD has been discussed a lot, but guess what? No one knows, so there's certainly no need for another thread. All you have added is that lower FW versions won't require soldering, higher will? Seems unlikely, it's a hardware flaw and all FW's have the same hardware...
