Trust me, "gaming" ANYTHING is overpriced crap! It doesn't really make using your computer easier at all and it's a PAIN to type a lot of text, as they aren't made ergonomically, but rather with just looks in mind. And let's not forget about all the annoyance with the color caps and how the only good one (brown) is priced starting at almost 200$! Also, most "gaming" keyboards nowadays don't even come with a numpad unless you pay for an even more expensive one, so it's a complete waste. Get a good ergonomic keyboard and it will get you a LONG way, I highly suggest a Logitech or Quest one from around 2010, won't cost more than 60$ or so tops while they are very comfortable, making long sessions way less stressful and you will never have to experience hand cramps or anything like you probably will with other keyboards. Same goes for mouse, don't go for anything that costs more than 15$, the only things you really need on a mouse, be it for gaming or general usage, are the left/right click, wheel, wheel click (some mouses don't have that) and forwards/backwards buttons on the side (those for browsing). Anything more than that is a waste and so are wireless mouses, cable for the win!
