I may have my Wii U set to 720p; was a bit silly of me to assume it would always be that (in my defence, the Gamepad is supposed to be 480p). I'll do some testing of various resolutions and get some changes pushed soon. Any other touch driver bugs that need work?

I don't know if its a bug or more a request :P but is it possible for the touch to work in the Retroarch GUI?

That's out of my hands, but in theory it should work in glui. Last I checked though, it doesn't? Not sure what's up there.

Also! I've thrown together a quick fix for the touch support. Before merging it, I'd appreciate it if you guys could do some testing for me. Source here, the touch test core here. I've tried it with HDMI at 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p; and over CVBS at 480i and 576i; both 4:3 and 16:9 modes. My RGB lead is tied up at the moment; but I figured it'd be basically the same. Looking good, but you guys have proven me wrong before!

Glui is actually the Gui i want to use it for (it doesnt currently work for Glui) :(
It seems like it would be awkward to use it for XMB but for Glui I think it would be a perfect fit.

Sure I'll test the new build for you :)

EDIT:
480p = perfect :)
720p = perfect :)
1080p = perfect :)

All good mate ;)

I guess it shouldn't be much a problem if the video is set to core provided? Since the cores that use touch doesn't have those fancy resolutions like mame.

Haven't checked in here for a while... wow, the newer versions are looking great!

Just curious, where do I get a list of all supported BIOS files and their CRCs? I've downloaded a ton of BIOS files last year from THATISOSITE, but no idea if this is still needed or up to date. I'd be pretty happy with a datfile or a hint where to get a updated archive of all supported BIOS files.

updated with last @QuarkTheAwesome touch driver

@ploggy I also experiment mouse problem with some games (sci games seems broken for now)

edit : @ploggy , I've tested on pc linux KQ5 with the last nightly libretro scummvm core and I’m not able to use the mouse button at all!
with official scummvm it work fine.so the core itself have something broken.

Tried with Core Provided aspect ratio, touch-cursor pretty much working 1:1 ^_^

However there's a bug... when I exit to RA menu the theme changes to "dot-art" with purple background... even if I close content the dot-art theme persist, I need to change core in order to it revert to my original "systematic" theme.

Okay so I need some help. I cant get RetroArch to work...

I have downloaded the 2017-11-19_RetroArch_rpx.7z binary, extracted.

1. Copied the RetroArch Folder Over
2. Copied Assets in to retroarch\media folder
3. Copied \wiiu\apps\retroarch from the rpx file onto sd card

When I run retroarch from HBL it just goes to a black screen and locks there.

What am I doing that isn't right?

I had a previous installation that worked (kind of) but I deleted everything to start over.

YES! is been one hell of a journey but WiiU touch is finally going in to Retroarch :)
Thank you @QuarkTheAwesome and Thank You @rioray :)
Does this touch driver work across all cores or is it set for specific ones like ScummVM?
It theoretically goes to every core; but not many were built with touchscreens in mind so many won't actually ask for the touch data. Hopefully this can be fixed with a bit of work on each core.
