Gaming Help my friend. Pokemon Ultra Moon Crashes for him.

I'm a sun-bro myself, so I'm not sure if there was an issue with the moon leak. But my friend has the moon leak. He plays on a 2DS, it should have B9S and Luma (worst case scenario he's still on A9LH as I installed that for him myself a year ago).

He claims that every time he gets to the bridge scene with the Spearow the game crashes. He doesn't bother with mods, all he uses CFW for is piracy. If it doesn't come in a .cia or .3dsx he doesn't bother. So there's no patch/mod issue causing his game to crash.

Any help for the guy? He claims he'll wait for the freeshop to release it and try again, but I doubt that will fix his issue. He's already tried redownloading the cia and reinstalling.

He got it off that iso site when it first leaked.

Again, he already tried that. He claims he even re-downloaded the CIA.

The file that he downloading might be corrupted as well. Try to find another download on "that ISO site".

It was indeed something wrong within the SD. Tried both the US and UM (tried a new and the original download just to make sure) files and neither would allow me to make it past the bridge.
I backed everything up, did windows repair for the SD, formatted it, and then restored everything to the SD. Tested both US and UM and they work fine now.

Didn't know you had an account already. Still, good to know. Your SD is fixed and you didn't have to wait til Friday minimum to play. I just finished the first trial myself.
