Sure but as I said, there are many of them.
There are some technical differences though so you should look for comments or YouTube vids before you buy any of these.
Some have a horrible output quality, some don't.
Some need an even stronger power supply than the one for the dock, some don't.
Some support Galaxy S8's Dex mode, some don't.
And so on.
Yes, but the one I linked to is not only very popular, but the slimmest/smallest hub that exists for the Switch. Unfortunately that makes is pricey. And the screen output is just fine on it as well. ^_^

I don't why you were quoting me. My main point was even with a dongle (that I already knew existed) you need power to use dock mode

Alright, got you wrong. Nevermind me. :P

Did you test it already? I'd be willing to pay for one if the output is fine and it supports Dex mode for my Galaxy S8+ as well.

The whole point of the Switch is that you can "Switch" anytime between Portable and Console. If you attach the Joy Cons so that they can not be taken of that whole idea is a step backwards... It will be the Wii U all over again.

Personally, no. But cforce seems to be notorious in certain places for working on switch and s8 Dex. Someone even created a Kickstarter for an oem rebrand of the cf001/002 just for more money. It's from China and the cf001 was basically China only aside from a few select third party, unofficial, resellers.

I can't say I've seen it first hand but I've seen a lot of positive reviews. If I were to get a switch I'd get the cf002 as well.

It's great to take a Switch outside to play wherever you want.
But when you play a multiplayer splitscreen game, the display is a little bit too small.
That's one but not the only reason why I'm hoping for a Switch XL.

If you're in, please sign my petition here:

That's what you have TVs for and a big reason why it comes with a dock in the first place.
The Switch IS the Switch XL. No one wants a laptop-sized Switch that only plays games.

The petition is not going to help Nintendo at all. Nintendo isnt going to listen to the petition at all. I dont think they are going with a Switch XL compare to 3DS XL because Nintendo Switch XL would be very expensive.

Oh my gosh, few are vote for mini ? What a ugly... I am against the rumour about Mini like this:

900x.jpg
I'm for the Mini. The XL would be ridiculous. The Mini would be aimed at kids, like the 2DS family.

Why in the world do you deduce others from yourself?
Would you say the complete 3DS XL family is obsolete if there's an HDMI adapter for it?
I'm talking about splitscreen mode anywhere and not on a TV.
That's what even Nintendo was showing in the launch trailer and even there it looked rediculous with two guys pressing them selfes shoulder by shoulder while looking on such a small screen.
No one wants to take your Switch consoles away. I'm just asking for a greater optional revision.

Switch is barely out.
Knowing Nintendo, They'd release a Mini Switch before they'd release an XL switch.

But yeh, the thing is already large, why make it any larger and more uncomfortable to hold?

So you want to turn the Switch into the GBA successor? No joy-cons kind of defeat the point. That would mean no multiplayer without buying more accessories. Plus it seems you just want a real d-pad out of it :P

i dont think the switch will be any good being smaller, its hard enough to see the screen if your playing it with friends (as depicted in the tv ads).

I think whats more important that making a mini or a larger version is to improve the system its self.

Better tech used for the joycons, better screen, better internal storage memory, better overall hardware to provide better visuals, improve on frame rate issues and allow devs to port games without dumbing it down or cutting features out of it.

remove the shit cheap plastic dock and improve on the actual firmware features, such as being able to do the run of the mill things and be able to push your switch to your tv via your home network.

That's true. It would be great for kids.. Not for me, thought. :)

Wiiu's pad or switch, which one has bigger size?

Wii's gamepad is bigger size than Switch but uglier than Nintendo Switch's. However, the screens are the same size .. 6.2 inches (16 cm). :)

I already have two extra joycons I'm not using, and I use my Pro controller to play games anyways, even on the go. It would be tailored for kids on roadtrips and shit, lol.

Ok. A switch XL? Really? If your problem is multiplayer and the screen not being big enough, then plug it into a TV!

If you don't have access to a TV, how do you have access to WiFi? And with the size of that screen, the only problems I could see (haha, get it? see? haha?? ok) are maybe the text.
