While it is true that it says "Spanish translation," there is also an English version.
At this point, the goal is to find errors; if you come across any—such as missing audio or an infinite loading screen—please report them in this thread. At the very least, send a screenshot of the dialogue
so I can identify where the issue occurs. Also, if possible, please share your save file.
I just tried to redo the patching process from the beginning with different dumps of the game and I'm still unable to get the patched game to launch, it crashes at startup on my Switch. When I delete the patch from the SD card the game works fine.

Did it work for you before? Honestly, I don't know that much about SCF; I just figure that if it works on an emulator, it has to work on the Switch.
Okay, one thing comes to mind—I’ve had this happen before when I assigned the wrong name to a resource (like naming a "message" file "map"), causing the game to crash or fail to launch. That could be the issue, or the names might just be incorrect. Finally, try testing just one patch first; if the game opens, you're good. If it doesn't, then it's something I can't help with—it could be a configuration issue or something similar, and that's not really my area of expertise.
They have to be that size; the other files have nothing to do with the English mod or are just test files. It’s just the map—it’s currently uncompressed, but when compressed, it’s 2.9 or 3 GB; that’s the size it needs to be. If that doesn't work, try them one by one as I mentioned—that way you could identify the culprit—but if that doesn't work either, there isn't much I can do.
Or better yet, just use the original files as a mod; the game should work—guaranteed. If it doesn't, then I can't help you.
Thank you so much for this amazing work!!!
I found a small text overflow in the first conversation with Tsubasa in the Spanish version.View attachment 584483
I'll fix it later; it's not a serious error, just an alignment issue. It was actually aligned correctly, but when I re-translated it, I forgot to line it up properly—I had based it on the English translation at first.
No, I'm still working on that. Hey, do you play on Switch?
I still need to edit the video, and—well—properly finish Kiria's model; it's just a matter of changing the texture, really.
Plus, it’s not easy to do. The textures wouldn't be hard, but the video is a different story; I have to edit 2,000 images, changing the clothing color and cropping that specific part from the uncensored version. I thought about using AI—since it would just involve changing something specific—but I can't afford those tools. I did create a tool using Cloud that makes processing each frame much easier—it takes about 20 seconds per frame, I think—but, well, sometimes I just can't be bothered, or I’d rather play something else instead of doing that.
I had a random idea in my bed before falling asleep : what if my issue is related to my Switch system langage ? My Switch is French. So popping out of bed I immediately tried changing my Switch langage to English, and poof now it works !
Is there something you can do about it @Gaprelrose ? I don't mind changing the langage setting when I wanna play this game if I have to, but I guess it would be nice to not have to Thank you for everything

Yep I'm playing on switch
I thought you just copy from the Wii U version and convert it to the switch, 2000 images and 20 seconds for each frame is a lot, thanks for your hard work
If you get it done in the future I'll prepare a save file for it so I can test it

If that’s what you think, then try every file except *message*. As for the solution, I’d have to put the English version in the French slot—since I removed the French one from the list (not that I speak French, which is why I disregarded it)—and, well, it makes repacking the file faster.

Yes, I already did that, and now comes my extra part: I also want to add extra content and restore discarded dialogue. In other words, it would be a director's cut.
