I'm removing the censorship from Tokyo Mirage Sessions. I've made good progress so far, but I'm having problems with the 3D models; I don't know how to handle them correctly.

I KNOW ALMOST NOTHING ABOUT 3D MODELS, I NEED HELP WITH THIS PLEASE
I'm using Switch Toolbox to replace models within a .bfres file. The problem is, it can only be exported as a .dae file. When I export and edit the model, the vertex colors aren't imported, which makes it look strange in the game. As far as I know, this can only be done with FBX. The problem here is that even if I can add vertex colors with FBX, the weights and bones are slightly different, causing the game to crash. I still have no idea why. Perhaps when exporting the .dae as an FBX file, I need to apply some configuration, but which one? I don't know. What should I configure in Switch Toolbox? I don't know that either. During some testing, I removed the bones from the .fbx file, and it stopped crashing. The model was still visible, but stiff, because it turns out the model is missing weights. Honestly, I don't know what to do. There's no tutorial I can follow, nothing.

I don't know if anyone noticed this, but I've found the solution. It turns out you need to use Autodesk FBX Converter 2013 to convert DAE files to FBX. I was only using Blender, meaning I was exporting as FBX, and that was my mistake. I finally found the solution! I woke up at 3 AM and figured it out! XD
