And yet i can get 200$ for it on craigslist and maybe even more with 100 games plus hahahaha!

Why would people want to pay $200 something that’s supposed to be more readily available this time around for $80? Let alone $200 for a used system with carelessly installed games that don’t work properly.

How can retroarch be better than native games ?

By the way, there would be nice to have an utilities that transfer save games from retroarch to the native snes mini once the issue would be fixed !

I haven’t used it yet, but if it’s like other emulators, it might have filters that smooth out the graphics for a nicer, more modern look.

I don't get snes9x to launch a rom. the command line just doesnt work this way:

before:
/bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /usr/share/games/CLV-U-XFJBY/Rock_N__Roll_Racing_(U).sfrom.7z --volume 100 -rollback-snapshot-period 600

after:
/bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /usr/share/games/CLV-U-XFJBY/Rock_N__Roll_Racing_(U).sfrom.7z --volume 100 --retroarch -rollback-snapshot-period 600

What Am I doing wrong here?

#have you install retroarch and the snes modul?

I only wish for a way for haxchi to auto categorise games by platform when sorting them.

Edit: Also I got my memory usage down to:
155.7mb/198.6mb 185 games overall. (A mix of Snes, Nes and a few GB/C games for good measure too. And a few savestates already saved on it)

I should probably just hide all of the built in 21 games and replace them all with compressed counterparts.

I already did it to Contra 3 and Super Ghouls n ghosts. Mostly because I wanted to run the romhacks that improve them somewhat.

40mbs free isnt too shabby now. Get like 20 savestates out of that at most. lol.

I'm getting the error:
Kernel dumped but the MD5 checksum is unknown:
007a6505e97cf2a990a2da6160e95872
Do you want to continue?

Any insight please?
If you have just reflashed the custom kernel with the new custom kernel from the updated release version of hakchi, then that is why.

I have a similar issue.

retroarch works for Terranigma for me, but on topgear 3000 I get massive glitches (although atleast it does sort of play now), but with F1 ROC II it exits back to the game selection screen before you get out of the menu's.

Also I have noticed, once you have exited a game, then you can't get into the retroarch menu, as it just doesn't respond to the controller.

Try this: /bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /usr/share/games/CLV-U-WVIZO/Secret_of_Mana_(Germany).sfrom.7z --retroarch
for me it works fine ;D

i would recommend to load everything with retroarch. 16:9 support and almost everything runs flawlesss
Hmm, I got an SNES Classic Mini to play with an official emulator. By the way the native 1:1 pixel perfect is better than 16:9 for me.

I hope Astérix and other PAL games will work one day. :)

Why do so many people recommend using 16:9? How could having everything look like it's smashed down and stretched out, so that your characters look short and pudgy, possibly look good? Most people won't notice or care about minor distortions of the aspect ratio, but going from 4:3 to 16:9 is a big difference. One, which I don't personally think looks all that good. In my opinion, the borders or "black box" look better.

end of the line.

also make sure you have correct retroarch zip to drag into the hackchi window
