I've been at this for several hours and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I started Nitromac, turned on my 3DS, enabled debugging and redirect input in the Roslina menu, and typed in my 3DS IP address into the program and clicked on the 3DS icon on the right. It doesn't do anything and I really want to know how to fix it.

Pretty sure you still need NTR-CFW (or HzMod but it has lower FPS) for 3DS streaming.

Sure, as long as you have a stereo mic input or a line in.
By the way, Macs are PCs too ;)
Lol, I'm just so used to PCs being referred to as Windows computers. I have a Windows computer, but it's pretty crappy. Doesn't even have a graphics card, just an Intel chipset so I decided to stream on my Mac instead since it's a little bit more powerful than my PC. Didn't realize it would be so difficult though.

Looks like Boot Camp is free, also you can use a USB drive or SD card to install Windows.
I know you can record audio from your 3DS but can you record external audio at the same time? I'm going to be making videos and putting them on YouTube and I want to talk as I'm playing the game but I'm not sure how to do both at the same time.

get yourself a cheap usb mixer or interface for audio :~)

i stream on a 2012 imac from a n3ds xl by way of nitromac with a behringer dx626 (usually $80-$100) run into a scarlett solo interface (same like $80-$100 most places), this way i can do either ingame audio or just play music and still be able to talk to people and have my vocal track active too. if you get an audio interface/usb mixer you can just plug it into the mac and OBS/whatever software you use should recognize it. most interfaces are plug and play these days, i know the scarletts are, but a usb mixer might require drivers. good luck!!!

I think most broadcasting software has that feature built in.

Got it working finally! Now I just need to figure out how to enable audio.
Please share whatever you did to get it working, might help someone else who is having the same issue sometime.

Don't let this happen :P
