I think this is the correct place to post my issues with getting into editing and working with 3DS save game data.

To put it simply, I have no idea what I'm doing. I've never really done this before but I'm interested in the possibilities and want to start playing around with my games files.
My first attempt I wanted to keep small and personal, so my goal was to find a way to access the data from Puzzle and Dragon Z that was never released here in the States like planned, and the data I missed the timeframe to download properly. I found a SGE that promises to help me do what I'm hoping to do, but the roadblock I have right now is I have no idea how to access the actual Save Game for my game to edit it. Can someone help me or point me towards a tutorial to use to learn what I need to know to find the save game data so I can start making changes to it?

https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-jks-savemanager-homebrew-cia-save-manager.413143/ this is what you'd use to dump your save, it hasnt been updated in awhile. but should still serve your needs.
