the instructions r in the op. u may need to download the 6.61 firmware eboot.pbp and rename it though. that's what I had to do. it goes in the app's folder.

Looks like there’s an update inbound imminently – TheFlow has just checked in a fix for a crash when using CSO images.

that may be my issue. almost all, if not all, games r in cso. does it crash when selecting the game tier or the game?

Not sure, I was just copying what I'm reading over at Wololo. I'd suggest reverting back to a old install and wait for a fix, as it looks a bit unstable.

This is what is posted there too. It’s important to note that the ‘memory stick location’ defaults to ux0: when installing Adrenaline-6 so you should check if you have the incorrect ‘memory stick location’ and try again.

I'll just wait for a fix. I don't play the psp or the vita much, so I can wait. mine errors at selecting the game tier, and that maybe y.

do you write that line for note 1 in config .txt ??

write it under the word *kernel.

really neat update, does this mean we can delete the base game now ?
which now is basically the adrenaline app on my vita screen.

do i delete that now and just simply install the newly released adrenaline vpk and then i can just run that to boot into adrenaline yeah?

https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/Adrenaline/releases/tag/v6

Changelog v6
  • Redesigned boot process. Adrenaline does now not require any basegame or activation anymore.
  • Added 'uma0:' to 'Memory Stick Location'.
  • Added support for longer ISO filenames.
  • Fixed Memory Stick free space integer overflow in games like Outrun.
  • Fixed bug where ISO games did not show up when the folder 'PSP/GAME' was missing.
  • Improved core and fixed some small bugs.

Instructions straight from the github:
How to install
  1. Download Adrenaline.vpk and install it using VitaShell.
  2. Launch Adrenaline and press X to download the 6.61 firmware. After finishing it will automatically terminate.
  3. Relaunch Adrenaline, this time it will go into pspemu mode. Follow the instructions on screen.
Note #1: Adrenaline has been redesigned in 6.61 Adrenaline-6, so you'd need to launch Adrenaline twice everytime you reboot your device. To get rid of that, simply write this line to *KERNEL

*KERNEL
ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx

Note #2: If you have been using a previous Adrenaline, please uninstall it before using 6.61 Adrenaline-6 or higher. Just remove the directory ux0:adrenaline to avoid interference.

Edit: Released* Adrenaline*
Looks like if you are using an sd2vita you still have to boot adrenaline twice in order to use it. Just tried it again with a real ps vita memorycard and after adding the line of text to the tai config text file. It works fine so its an sd2vita issue if you want to add this to the op. hopefully it helps and someone who has an account on github can also post the issue so the flow can see it.

It's in the beginning of the config.txt, where all the words are, before you start adding your own plugins
