Hey guys! I did a lot of searching to see if it was possible to convert old rom files into .3ds format, but only saw tutorials for .cia format. Is it possible to convert to .3ds format and run these old roms on my sky3ds+?
As far as I know the Sky3ds will only read legit non-modified roms since it emulates a real gamecard, so even if you have a rom repacked as .3ds the sky3ds/game won't read it... Only Gateway will read non legit .3ds files.
Crap. That's what I figured honestly! Thanks guys! Yeah the sky emulates a real card, so I'm out of luck there. I did try getting homebrew working on my New 3DS and most of the apps freeze the console with a red screen upon exiting the app. Not even sure why. I tried Ninjhax and Freakyhax. They WORK, but the console freezes afterwards.
Just use ntrboothax and get luma, then install the emulators or virtual console games into your system menu.
