With full privileges can we run our own unsigned updates or would we be screwed on that because they still aren't signed by Nintendo? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm going off of the ps3 scene years and years back. But with that we had the keys to sign our updates and disable signature checks.

We don't know exactly. I'm guessing here, but I don't think they have access to the trusted zone so I don't think that's possible.

i saw on twitter a while back that they did have access to the trust zone

They have it dumped, just as with the kernel. They don't have any actual exploits into it, IIRC.
Does that mean they can like read the chip where it is stocked via a computer but cant acces it through the console? Rigjt?

TrustZone isn't where problems arise. We don't/won't have the keys from 3.0.1 and future updates, so while you can run unsigned updates, they won't match to Nintendo's because you won't have a key-match. From here on, 3.0.1+, and 3.0.0 and lower, will grow apart.
