Hold Select on boot. Does it say you have Luma 7.1 or higher? If so, you already have B9S.

It honestly doesn't matter one way or the other. My H&S app has been Dev menu since the MSET days, so like 2 years almost Lol. I'm fully updated just had/have no reason to revert it. Meh

Ok lol. But will that method still work. Lol it's just that I have 2 FBIs and one is on top of H&S.

You don't have to wait for 11.6 to come out. System updates will work as long as any system title is either outdated or missing. In this case the missing one would be Health & Safety.

So I can just delete health and safety from the FBI titles, power off the system, then go into system settings for a system update and everything will be fine?

I have a o3ds with the latest luma and b9s. When I use hbl cia and I try to run decrypt9, it closes and it gets me back to home menu. Any way to launch decrypt9? I need it to convert 3ds into cia

I wanna make a nand backup using godmode9 but I don't have the latest one. Is it safe for me to get the new one, 1.3.1, so I can create my backup? I'm on 1.2.1 at the time.

Can I use sysdowngrader (or some other means) to downgrade a 11.4/11.5 emunand (b9s + luma3ds) to something which will let me use a gateway 3ds?

I want to get one since they are cheap and I can swap out micro sd cards and access more games. Can't really switch out the consoles main SD card.

You can use 3Down (11.2 CTR transfer). If you don't have one already, don't get one. Using it is quite dangerous and the only advantage is cheats. Even if you already owned one it would be reasonable to not use it based on the risks outweighing the benefits of better cheats. If you don't already own one, the cost plus the risks far outweigh any benefits. Why spend $80 on a Gateway when you could buy a 128GB SD card for $50 and store every game ever made worth playing?

Use Luma's chainloader with the .firm version of Decrypt9, not the one in Homebrew.

Gateway is potentially dangerous to inexperienced users because of a few reasons. It lacks firm protection. If it is boot above 11.2 on SysNAND on an O3DS, it will remove your CFW (Not such a big deal anymore with NTRBootHaX but still) if it's done on a N3DS it will brick the console (Again could be fixed by NTRBootHaX). The risk isn't as potentially bad as it was with this release, however GateWay is more or less dead. FreeWare CFW can do everything it can besides play .3DS/3DZ Roms in a drag and drop manner and doesn't require a downgraded emuNAND; or one at all.

Can anyone help me, I own a couple of Acekard2i's from back in the day. They work fine in my DS lite but have never worked in my none cfw 3ds consoles and think I read they are no longer supported and have just stopped working for many but then I keep seeing posts about them when using cfw. I have now got the latest cfw running on my 3ds so am I right in thinking that it could work? if so what do I need to do to get it working please?

So, when I try to boot up Smash 3DS on the latest build of Luma, this happens. My other games work fine, and Smash was working as well a couple days ago. This just randomly happened. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Are you sure you have the latest version (8.1.1)? In the release notes it says that it will now just log ErrDisp errors and not show an error screen.

I got the gateway cheap and you can only use up to 32GB sd cards with the 3ds. But at least up to 64GB in a gateway.

Apparently I'm wrong and larger cards do work.
