Hi guys i finally got my sd2vita but its not working.
I tried 2 difrent sd cards and everytime i start my vita it ask me if i want to format the original vita card. I did all the steps. I folowed a couple of tutorials but the system does not recognize the sd card.
Thing ive done
I tried 3 difrent ver. Of gamesd.skprx.
I tried 2 difrent sd card. 1 a 32gb sandisk and the otherone a 128gb samsung.
When i install the sd2vita i get nothing, no acces light it apears to be dead. I checked the pins and they have continuity betwen the sd card and the sd2vita. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks.
Ps. Does anyone has the sd2vita pinout?
I have the exact same issue with no results yet. I got 2 boards from Modsiah, and they both get the same formatting request. Perhaps an enso issue? I'd be most grateful for a solution. Love what's been done with the vita thanks to this community!

Did you use electrical tape?

like you, bought from ps_freedom on eBay and it's no working.
Tried with both SD2VITA from the same seller and no blinking led ...

how did you manage to get the SD2VITA Inside the game slot ? I can't with the springs ... any good tuto ?
I got the purple batch which seemed thinner than other boards I'd seen online. Mine slides without catching the springs.

Here's a link to Modsiah's tutorial:

About 3/4 into the vid he shows how to install if it does catch the spring. Hope this helps.

am I the only one who put tape on the back of an actual gamecart then used it to push the spring down? I was able to pull the card out using the tape with the spring down and I had no issues inserting or using the Modsiah adapter (after putting tape on both sides FIRST to avoid shorting the Vita and possibly damaging it)

I had a similar problem and was getting frustrated.
It turned out to be a tai/config.txt on the memory card which wasn't edited with the sd2vita driver.
Now i'm having an issue where my 256gb micro sd shows up in molecular shell with a total/free space amount of -- / --. I have to delete something for it to show up properly. I read somewhere else that even though it'll work when i delete something it'll work, that it reverts to -- / -- and no space available next time i reboot (I'm not on enso).

UPDATE:

OK so I found another 4gb VITA memory card, formatted it and its working, managed to remove spoof, load henkaku (wouldnt work without memcard or spoof) and reinstall molecular shell... THEN enabled unsafe, used molecular to delete gamecardsd.skprx and reload taihen, now my original 16gb is working again (PHEW)... but fuck: all my shit is GONE... and adrenalin..... any way to get ePSP cfw again with literally a vanilla 3.60 enso installation?

Thanks in advance!

Always make sure that you turn the power off before you remove the card. But your info is prolly still there. Just get vita shell on there somehow and go to the menu that list all the separate drives and press triangle and refresh live area. It might work for you.

Read somewhere that there is a patch that you might have to install in henkaku in order for it to read from the sd2vita adapters. Maybe that might work.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Is the system suppose to shut off when removing or inserting the adapter?

Is that where you're supposed to put the tape? Or around the bottom so that the points labeled TP# are covered up?

Well, I followed the classic tuto twice, twist the sd2vita and voilà !
No need to use linux I guess.
Which tuto did you use? I have the same problem

Edit: nvm, I taped the sd2vita, re-check my tai/config and no gamesd.skprx in there, I put it there before. Anyway, I put plugin in cfg again and the sd2vita start working, I don't know if was a config problem all the time or the tape made the magic.

Even still you can use Adrenaline Easy Installer to create a bubble and install on top of it now. You don't even need the separate ePSP Bubble Manager for it. I have a brand new 3.60 that I got after the activation blocking took place that now has Adrenaline on it. Happy hunting.

I just got mine from srident. I've taped it up. Used the blank SD image and formatted as exfat. Can't get it to show up at all. Should a light flash or something when it's inserted???

the cartridge light must be blinking at use (read/write), at boot blinks for a few seconds

Well it's like it's dead. No lights at all. Normal cart works. It's the right way around.
