Gaming Nintendo censors/updates the cover of Super Mario Odyssey

A very subtle change that not many will notice but what was it that they modified? Mexican Mario for Mario in a swimsuit. It's like Nintendo noticed the outcry some did by calling Mexican Mario "racist" and this is how they've fixed it up.

Mexican Mario was pretty interesting, the screenshot they replaced it with just looks like a generic Super Mario 3D Land/World stage. Oh well, it's not a big deal. Unless they also remove that stage from the game, now that would cause some public outrage.

Mexican Mario was a brand new character and felt fresh whereas Mario in a swimsuit just feels really generic to place there instead. I suppose since there's no backlash towards Chef Mario he won't get replaced.

Geez, they better not. I guarantee, exactly 100% of actual Mexicans never found Mexican Mario offensive.

The new area that got added was barely revealed yesterday, all the other areas on the cover have been revealed in the trailer this new one is barely revealed and were probably waiting until its reveal to include it in the cover

I still remember the last 'Nintendo Censorship' thread where people were complaining about Nintendo changing a gesture in MK8 which could mean 'F*** you' in a different country.
