Sony has done an excellent job with the PlayStation App, it features the PlayStation Store, Friends List, Private Messaging (requires to install an additional app though), News, Account, Connect to PS4, Explore, Calendar and etc.

I hope that the Switch Online App followers Sony's footsteps because Nintendo still doesn't have a decent web browser eShop store, for example. Or PM service on the Switch.

I always thought the psn setup on mobile was overcomplicated. Most of the features are on the PlayStation app but the more useful features are on separate apps (remoteplay, messaging, communities). To add to that, the app doesn't seem to be well optimized or supported. I'm not saying it's a bad setup but it could be better and the Nintendo Online app needs to be better.

Yeah, I dunno why they don't just fix it up and make the PlayStation have it all than requiring to install a Private Messaging PlayStation App and such but hey it works, and works really well so I'm extremely satisfied.

I had a message on my PlayStation account that dates back to 2016 and replied yesterday to the guy. :P
