dsiware transfer was time consuming and i dont know how to hardmod so only thing i can do is wait

4.5-8.1 = Browserhax, 9.0-11.3 = Soundhax, 11.4 = Hardmod 11.5 = DSiWareHax.
Browserhax requires opening up the web browser and going to a specific URL with specific files to launch SafeB9SInstaller. Soundhax requires using a specifically made sound file to access homebrew, then using udsploit and safehax to launch SafeB9SInstaller. 11.4 only currently supports hardmod since a system transfer requires both consoles to be updated. DSiWareHax involves using a DSiWare game with vulnerabilities that allow accessing the NAND, and in order to transfer it, you need to have another hacked 3DS and the other one should mostly be a clean slate. Then a system transfer will allow the hax to be transferred to the other DS, allowing you to launch SafeB9SInstaller.

Waiting is more time consuming then DSiWare transfer as we don't know when NTRBootHax will come out. Is there a different reason you don't want to do the DSiWare method that you're not telling us?

So true, that's how I learned a lot about the 3DS.

Good old days where you had to compile your own installer with a *unchecked* otp.bin, and had to risk the 2.1.0 downgrade without any checks if it worked or not

i used dsiware transfer when it first came out but i wasnt able to downgrade and had to wait 1-2 weeks for a updated downgrader it really annoyed me i dont want anything like that to happen again

Okay. Just an FYI you don’t downgrade anymore, so that’s not really something you’d have happen. Plus 1-2 weeks is still probably less that when NTRboothax will be released.

Well, installing CFW on older firmwares has changed since then. It's gone from:

download files > copy to SD card > insert SD card (if not using microSD management) > boot 3DS (or homemenu if using microSD management) > open 3ds sound > soundhax > udsploit > safehax > backup NAND > ctrtransfer > take out sd card > reboot console without SD > turn off console > download files > boot 3DS (chance of bricking on n3ds by closing the lid) > insert SD card (must be done AFTER boot) > open browser > SafeA9LHInstaller using 2xsra (chance of bricking from wrong OTP) > reboot console > set luma settings > restore NAND backup > turn off console > take out SD card > download more files > copy to SD card > insert SD card > boot into Godmode9 > inject FBI > restart into homemenu > install magical homebrew shit > finished

to
