Hi, I recently got a R4i SDHC Happybox v1.4. I'm just wondering if you guys know any firmware official or unofficial that allows me to play the latest games?

well, I'm just wondering, do you even have the same flash cart that I have? It seems that you're very confident in pushing the article you wrote.

If you have the same cart I have, then what did you do? Wouldn't it be easier to simply just tell, rather pointing someone through loop holes?

People write tutorial just in case the same questions .

No one has the same cart as you have, because anybody who actually knows how to fix your problem around here doesn't buy shitty R4 clones.

And Rydian is magazine staff for a reason.

What he posted is proven to work if you can be fucked to actually follow the guide and know what to do.

When it comes to R4 knockoffs, people buy the cart design and site layout and stuff from a company to try to resell it under a different label (think of a timeshare) and it's their job to produce the software updates. Often these clones have hardware mods so that they won't run other firmwares, this is done to prevent clones of clones (though lord knows it happens anyways). The problem is if a team that starts making an R4 clone can't program, there's no software updates to run on the cart beyond the original (since some are modified to not run standard firmware like YSmenu).

Therefore if you have a locked clone from an especially-shitty team with no clue what they're doing, you can find it non-functional. A.K.A. "broken". And they just don't give a fuck because by the time you have the cart and find it's a clone, you've already given them your money.

They KNOW you're not going to sue them, so they get away with this.

If steps 1-6 don't work, it's because your cart is a piece of shit and you need a new one.

seriously, treat the R4 you got there with the good old hammer treatment, and buy a 12$ genuine AK2i from lightake.

It remedied ALL of my flashcard problems EVER.

seriously though, the card you got is a piece of crap, you are better off buying something better, like the Acekard2i for example, which gets support from AKAIO. So far, all games except Pokemon HG/SS run fine for me.

...Happybox? Ok now these manufactures should stop making this stuff. Give me the website of the flashcart, or the file structure of it.

Because a DSTT clone's file structure is soooo unbelievably useful.

I do it works on my ds lite and trying to get it to work on 3ds ending with failure have you got any ideas?
You probably should have made a new thread but I'll still help nonetheless.

What site is on the sticker of the cart?

R4isdhc.com I have the firmware for the 3ds.. The thing is the 3ds reads the card but gives me a white screen :\
