Ok, tried dosbox (rpx) and it seems to load fine so far on my end, had to put the path through playlist since the keyboard is not active. Tested Command & Conquer Red Alert, but got this error:

I have no idea what does mean , only tried dosbox once in my life during the old days of Wii. I guess there's no much I can do... until keyboard support (?)

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to play the gba game fzero maximum velocity.. DONT! I played it for about 10 mins and noticed the map on the bottom of the screen sort of burns-in the WiiU gamepad screen. The map has shimmer to it. AS seen hear:

Be careful the shimmer stays on the WiiU Gamepad screen for a good 10 mins after..

Good thing I don't like F-Zero games
But thanks for the heads up!

That game uses a pseudo transparency mode, obtained by rapidly switching a layer on and off every other frame. Don't know how many other games do though.

Yes, the map layout.. it shimmers really bad on the WiiU and prolonged play will leave an after image that will stay on screen no matter what app you load after. :(
Doesn't the Wii U have a burn-in screen reduction option in Settings?
Perhaps that might help

Yep I just tried it out and can confirm this happens best to stay away from this game I think. Mabye a clever dev could make a patch to remove the map from the game

This is mGBA right? And not the VBA core (If there is one)? I don't remember seeing it, Well, I've played GP legend, which I think is the better of the two on GBA (better audio quality as well) :P
