Hacking Gateway To Luna

Hey guys I haven't been on my 3ds in a while and gateway seems bto be taking a break from supporting emunand.

Now, back in the day I had installed gateway and ctrbootloader along with rxtools. Rxtools and gateway can use the same Emunand and I was wondering if such a thing is possible for Luna.

I don't wanna lose my pokemon save files and yet I don't want to rely on gateway anymore. is there a way to boot that same emunand with Luna?

You might want to import Gateway saves to cia games before following the guide and getting rid of Gateway and Emunand.

I am seriously considering doing a full reset on my 3DS. I have this in mind can you verify that it's possible?

- Get a full backup of the SD card with a windows software as a fallback option as I screw it up. (Also want to protect my sysNand)
- Get all my save files extracted, CIAs and Gateway Red card games.
- Format my SD card. Now this step I'm not sure, is this enough to do a full reset on a 3DS? What about my sysNand?
- Fresh install Luma and all my games.
- Insert the saves back to those games and never use gateway again.
