I used Wii U USB Helper to download Hyrule Warriors and I had the program copy everything onto my SD card. I loaded up WUP Installer Mod Y and tried to install the game, but it keeps giving me the error code in the title. The thread that the program comes from, says that the code translates to "No SD Card," even though my SD card is in the system. I followed the video tutorial on the Wii U USB Helper thread, but it still gives me the error code. I use Mocha as the CFW, by the way. Do you know what I may be doing wrong?

Are you sure the SD card is legit and in good health? A bad SD card will give errors like that. Try a different SD card.

I have not had any issues with it up until now, I've been using it for the Wii U and Wii U only, and this is the only card I got that has enough space to hold the game. Guess I'm screwed huh ...

Make sure your SD card is unlocked.
It should look like this: http://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/5476i5F714A4661579993?v=mpbl-1

Also, I would recommend just using Wup Installer GX2, i have had a error like this and its fixed now.

I forgot to mention that the same thing happened to Wup Installer GX2 because I tried that first, but the thing is it wouldn't give me any error, it just showed the installing screen with a bar that stayed at 0.0 / 0.0 MB the whole time and I waited 10 minutes for it to change. Also it has been unlocked this whole time, that is why I was able to work with the SD card in the first place.

maybe try system config tool and see what happens? it will show an error with a little more information behind it. it's not much though.

Eject your SDCard while being in Wii U mnu and insert it back.
Other than that, delete Wup Installer .elf and redownload it.
Oh, use Wup Installer GX2 btw.

Can I just turn on the system without the card in it and then put it in? Or should it be in before turning it on and just take it out then put it back in? And yeah I'll redownload GX2 when I get home.

Where can I find this system config tool? Is it in the folder of the WUP Installer app(s)?

I had the same error last night. I was using haxchi CFW. It happened when i was trying to install CoD BOII. Tried all the ways...after that, I turned off my wii u, then I opened the HBL using Haxchi (Without CFW, just for load HBL), and I installed the game without problems. no more error codes.
Try to install it without using any CFW.

I think iAqua's pastebin has it. that's my understanding anyway. can't post it here since it would infringe on site rules since it's part of the Nintendo sdk. however, I have a better idea. r u using haxchi? have it direct to sysNAND instead of using mocha default = sysNAND. u may be encountering a bug with mocha.

Oh really? Okay yeah I actually load up Mocha CFW before trying to install, so this will be the first thing I try when I get back home. I'll get back to you with the results regardless if it's positive or negative.

What exactly is haxchi? Is it a homebrew channel on your Wii U? I access homebrew through loadiine.ovh. And I am going to try installing the game without running Mocha before trying anything else, if it fails then I'll look for that paste bin you mentioned.

Maybe something got corrupted. Did you try to reformat your SD Card?

Backup your entire SD Card and put the files on your SD Card in a safe place. Format your SD Card using GUIFormat, don't use Windows to format your SD Card. Format your SD Card in Fat32 with 32K Cluster.

After you formatted your SD Card, transfer all your files back to your SD Card and try installing again.

Also, make sure your using the latest version of WUP Installer GX2.

And if your trying to install a Virtual Console game or any DLC, you must be running a CFW with Sigpatches first before you try to install it. DLC and VC games won't install without sigpatches.

Okay I'll try reformatting the card once I get back home in a few days. Although I must say that the chances of corrupted files are quite low, but a possibility nonetheless. And I guess my version of GX2 is outdated, so yeah that could be a good reason why it's not working, and actually yeah I am using Mocha as my CFW and downloading the DLC for the game. I'm not sure if it deals with DLC sigpatches, however (not really sure what those are so an explanation would be greatly appreciated). What sort of CFW would you recommend that would work with DLC? RedNAND right?

Mocha has sigpatches, so you should be fine there. Sigpatches just means Signature Patches. It removes the WiiU Legit Signature security checks, so you can install and launch non legit owned DLC and VC Games that you download with USB Helper.

Oh, so I have the correct CFW, so that's great to hear. I was told that maybe running the CFW may be the problem. But because of what you said, the possibility of running the CFW causing the error is lowered significantly, correct? Or do you think that could still be a strong cause?

I don't see how the custom firmware could be causing the issue to be honest. But I'm not an expert, so I could be wrong.

Ironic that you said that because your name is TheTechGenius, lol. But yeah I'll do some experimenting when I get home.

Yeah. But I'm new to WiiU modding also. But when I get into something such as WiiU modding, I do a lot of research about it before I do anything. I love technology, so when I mod my consoles, or I learn new ways to do things with technology, I don't really do it to play games. I do it to learn more about the tech, I do it to learn more about the platform. It's more about learning new things, then being able to do more things on the console, that's how it is for me anyway. Lol
