Hacking 11.4 NTR Streaming

I did i put it in the luma/payload but after hitting start it brought me to the reg 3ds menu, am i supposed to click that luma icon to launch?

you have to hold start at boot to launch the chainloader. please read the steps carefully.

Okay i'm on section 3 and this is prob the last question i will ask you (again thank you for helping and for dealing with my noobitity/stupidity)

i extracted the folder 11.X.0-3XX_ctrtransfer_x3ds.7z and got a folder called files9, in the sd card there is also a folder called files9

do i overwrite the entire folder or simply put the 2 files in the extracted folder onto the sd card? or even put them into the files9 folder on the sd card?

as the guide also mentioned simply drag and drop the folder to the root of your sdcard merging the folders. I did this for user Convenience you could also simply take out the bin and the sha file and put them into the files9 folder, doesn't matter at all

"rename"

"paste"

did i do something wrong....

I do not see any .tik files

are those needed for streaming, or can i re-install the BootNTRSelector? Remember all i want is the streaming function back, the games i use are physical cartridges

you skipped section 2 and did not backup your tickets. your installed games will not show up anymore.
(the selector is still installed, it just won't show up without the ticket.)

the tickets are in your nand backup.
(they should be in files9 but you skipped section 2, so you would have to restore your backup, and do it all over, or run tikshop to install missing tickets (homebrew tickets won't be restored by tikshop, you will have to reinstall homebrew applications.))

alright then i'm sorry for asking again but how do i restore my backup then, because i am 100% sure i followed the steps....

and for the second question, how can i run tikshop to install the missing ticket for the BootNTRSelector, becasue the streaming function is 'all' i care about

TikShop doesn't install missing tickets for homebrew apps. He already told you this. And he gave you the solution to this. You re-install your homebrew apps. In this case, you would have to re-install BootNTRSelector.

Nintendo is now requiring 11.4 firmware to connect to their Wi-Fi services in Festival Plaza. R.I.P. NTR battle streaming on twitch for those without capture cards. (i.e. myself) A very unfortunate circumstance, however, I was on 11.2 so it is possible 11.3 will allow Wi-Fi services for now. Downgrading currently to find out, will update with results once tickets finish installing.

This was as of today on 11.2.0.35U I am currenctly still installing my tickets so I'll let you know what happens. It's possible they're rolling out this force updated slowly. I am hoping that's not the case here. That would be a gigantic pain in the butt considering the fact that would mean Nintendo has won... for now. We'll see once this finishes.

Edit: This may take a bit considering the fact I have 8-10 CDNs to install :/ Sorry for anyone keeping tabs

Well apparently Luma has a feature that prevents update nagging for online play. I never noticed. The latest release surely retains that feature.

Hm.. I'm not willing to update back to 11.4 to test thing honestly. Maybe this explains why you aren't having a force update issue as I updated Luma from 6.7 to 7.x right before I downgraded to 11.3 -_-. Derp.

Well, for anyone who was waiting on a response, all of my tickets/CDNs are now done, and NTR Viewer/kit-kat/Snickerstream are working perfectly fine without issue. I am able to connect to Pokemon Sun/Moon's servers as well without the force update response. I am not sure whether that is due to updating Luma to 7.x or because I am on 11.3 as opposed to 11.2. If it's literally just an issue of updating Luma, then the last 4 hours of my life were pointless, but hey, we have some moderately useful insight now.
