Hardware If anyone's planning on buying a silicone case for their Switch... (check this out before doing so)

It has become somewhat tradition for me to have silicone cases for my controllers and usually I didn't need to make any cuts or what have you, but on the silicone case of the Switch, well.. See below.

The reason I had to cut out some parts of the case was due to making the buttons almost unusable and now it's much MUCH better. However, the when trying to place the Switch with the case in the dock it just doesn't fit so it doesn't get as much use as I'd have hoped.

Well, at least it didn't damage the switch (like some ill-informed user had expected).

In most cases (for me) function overrules appearance so, that's fine since you find the product better in that state.

Still wonder if anyone has made a thin, sturdy case for the switch (that still allows you to dock it)...

You're thinking of the stickery cases that you apply on the Switch and controllers, this is just a normal silicone case, nothing else.

...but how will you remove the JoyCon?

It's intended to be used as a normal handheld in this form.
