Every time I try to boot smash, NTR seems to get disabled. Cant get the ntr menu to open from the home screen or anything. Is there any way to get around this?

Only by getting an n3DS, I'm afraid. When Smash is booted on an o3DS it boots into a high memory mode which closes some of the background apps running such as home menu and browser, meaning NTR is unable to stay running.

But wouldn't BootNTR Mode 3 have a way to do so? I mean Pokemon Sun and Moon also work the same high memories as Smash, but NTR still works. Problem with me however is that the game doesn't load once i activated BootNTR.

That post that you quoted was oosted before Mode 3 was most likely a thing. Mode 3 should work with Smash but I can't help you as I have not tested it.

I have made it work, but it took me quite the time, given how Smash 4 handles BootNTR. I'm now trying w/A Link Between Worlds.

But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again

Ran a driver update in device manager?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not recently but I think it's less a driver issue and more just Windows having a garbage Bluetooth stack
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Could be I was having issues when I first upgraded it and didn't realiser gigabyte has specific driver revisions which is stupid

Which is married to the boards revision
