Hey all, bet you're totally not tired of seeing these things, eh?

I'm icefire82G, or Ice, or whatever you wanna call me really. I'm here to learn the ins and outs of 3ds homebrew/hacking

I currently only own an O3DS with A9LH and Luma 7.0 Hourly (not sure which revision though). I accidentally did an 11.4 update, so I'm currently scouring the forums looking for people to send me the doodlebomb exploit so I can access the homebrew menu again.

I'm still relatively new to everything, but I'm learning relatively quickly and have gotten a pretty solid handle on the things I need so far, but I'd definitely like to get into more advanced stuff.

As for other information about me, I guess I can post about if it becomes relevant or people ask, but hopefully that should be everything everybody needs (or wants) to know.

I actually have the hblauncher cia installed, but none of the payloads I can find seem to work. And as for a ctrnand transfer, I'm a teensy bit afraid I'll lose all the cias I've installed (which is like, a whole grunch).

EDIT: Plus, having doodlebomb as a secondary exploit just in case the hblauncher fails again would be pretty swell as well.

Afaik doing a ctrnand transfer shouldnt delete your stuff. It does happen if you inject an old backup of your nand. Also have you tried to rename the homebrew launcher cia payload to 11.4?

Is the cia payload kept in a separate place than the default payload? Because if it isn't then I've been renaming things completely wrongly.

the otherapp payload is the one used for the homebrew launcher cia. Since you are using an o3ds, grab the 11.2 payload for your region and system version from smea's site and rename the "11.2" to "11.4"

No no, I meant, is the payload used for the cia saved in a different folder? Or is it still at the root? Because I've tried both 11.3's payload and 11.2's payload, and I can't seem to get either of them to work, no matter what I rename them to.

Forgot to say that the payload should be on the root of your sd card.

It's at the root. Are you sure you renamed the 11.2 payload correctly? Try to do it again as explained here:

For the HBL to work on 11.4 for O3DS/2DS use the 11.2 otherapp and rename it to "OLD-11-4-0-37-USA.bin".

Are you from the us right? If you are from another region you should replace the USA to EUR. It should work with 11.2 whatever, seems strange that you cant get it to work s:

Okay, somehow it started working out of nowhere. Maybe it's because I tried booting into emunand after booting into sysnand? I'm not sure, but it is working now. So that's pretty great. Thanks for your help anyways, mate.

Yeah it's my character, but I didn't make it. I commissioned somebody to make it a while back, and then I just added in the background. I like your icon a bunch too, but I can't figure out what its from. Looks like Yo-Kai watch, digimon, or maybe a card game anime?

EDIT: Figured it out! I was running the cia in sysnand instead of emunand, like a silly idiot. Now I just gotta try and change the theme for sysnand to something more... Obvious

EDIT 2: Yeah no that wasn't it, and now I can't get back into the homebrew menu. Guess I just gotta fiddle around with it until it starts working again. Oh well, c'est la vie!

btw, what is your main nand? If you use sysnand it should work on it too, not sure why it only works on your emunand...

I use sysnand as my main nand, and I have emunand1 which seems to work perfectly fine as well. Now I can't get the file to boot on either nand though, so that's fun.

Try to do everything again, but this time make sure to get this payload "11.2.0.35" and then rename it as i quoted a few posts above.

Tried it, and it's not working. At this point, I'm just going to try and restore my ctrnand backup, and hopefully find a way to make using ctr-httpwn a lot less annoying.

But thanks for the offer for Wii U hacking! I don't currently own a Wii U (well, technically I do, but my younger brother hoards it, along with the switch...), but if I get my hands on one I'll know who to call!
