Even in 1.7.4D With the latest CEMUHOOK and i7-6700K+GTX1070FTW

Hyrule Castle and the Fight with Ganon are a complete mess

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

So I put version D in the C folder and fps back to about 20 but sometimes drops. Found game crashes more than version C.

Also when seeing a video scene, getting green artifacts on whole screen
Update Game and Update CEMUHOOK or Add it if you dont have it already

yes.. same as mine its going to 0.1x fps and i've been waiting for about 30 minutes still the same still lock at 0.1x fps..
then i close it.. then re-open again still same locked at the top of the same tree..

A similar occurrence just happened to me, accept I wasn't climbing a tree. When this occurred for you, did fps eventually restore back to 'normal'? ...Cemu seems to be locked in this state in for me.

Mine went from 30fps to 0.13 - 0.14fps instantly, whilst I was happily playing, and had been for 15 minutes with a stable fps. Looking like I have to reload CEMU. Anymore reports of this?

OK I just experienced this. Twice. Are either of you overclocked? Both times this occurred to me I backed out of the emulator and task manager reported my cpu speed as over 6ghz. CPUz still reports the correct 4.5ghz though. I can't seem to duplicate it on my own like cheungpakwan can with his tree though. One time I was just running around outside of a shrine and the second time I was mid jump attack.

My specs:
i5 2500k @4.5ghz
16gb 2133
gtx 1070

im not overclock it, because im using i3 haswell 4150 (as far as i know i3 haswell (non-K) processor can't be overclocked)

edit : not all top trees can make the game lock at 0.x fps.. only specific tree.

Struggling to figure out what to do with the enhancement graphics pack.
For example, The mario kart 8 high res shadows https://github.com/slashiee/cemu_graphic_packs/tree/master/Enhancement
Do I copy the data from the rules.txt and add it in to the rules.txt 4k file, or do I make the high res shadows it's own seperate graphics pack and enable it along with the 4k graphics pack?

Also, the ones that say AA removal, what are they? when I click on the rules.txt the seem quite empty.

@leelaa16 Set it up as it's own and then enable it separately. It should work the other way as well if you want but I just keep them all the way they are on the github. I'm guessing the AA removal ones remove anti aliasing, haven't used them myself. But you also need the ps_source file for them to work. That's why the rules.txt is so sparce.

IMO it's best to just download the whole git and copy the folders you want to the graphics packs folder.

@cheungpakwan I climbed every tree I could in that area and still couldn't duplicate it. But when I get that crash? it works just like in your video. I did have a shader compile when I got to the top of the tree though. I just can't seem to trigger it on my own. It's just random. Though thinking back it seems like it may only occur when a new shader gets compiled. Though rarely and randomly for me. I'm going to muck around in my bios with speedstep and turbo settings tomorrow and see if I still get it to happen. I was hoping I could trigger it like you since that would make testing much easier. I've had hour long play sessions where I have not encountered the problem and I've had 15 min sessions where I did.

@cheungpakwan and @stickman89 I'm convinced this is a cemu bug now. If you get stuck with the 0.X fps you can hold the start button down and within a few seconds you'll be back into a 30fps menu. From there you can save your game and load it again and you're back up and running without having to close down cemu. Though in my experience it is far more likely to occur again after the first time. I still can't trigger it on purpose though. It's completely random on my end though.

I did manage to stuck the game at 0.x fps after the first shrine, I dropped a chest from above ground, and was turning dark, everything was stuck at low framerate.
Pressing pause stopped the rendering, and did let me save the game at normal framerate.

ok this is no fun i have not been able to run any version from 1.6.2 and up it crashes when loading .wud -.-
I have tried older AMD drivers, i have updated to latest nothing instantly crashes ...

1.7.4 same thing what could be the issue ... 1.6.2 for exaample works fine when opening ...

Just to report, don't know if its only here, but it seems that running Zelda BOW above native res breaks light surface reflections...
ra3uqw.png

I'm using the 4k settings, but it also happens on all different resolutions (the squase with the reflections gets bigger the closer the resolution is to native.
It seems to be related to this section:
[TextureRedefine] #half-res1, soft pass toon shader,
width = 640
height = 360
overwriteWidth = 1920
overwriteHeight = 1080

Have they altered the public release concerning launching with Cemu hook? I can't seem to launch the latest emulator when the hook is installed in the folder.

Use latest graphic packs, fixes issue

Need help :(

I used the cemu 1.7.4d + zelda BOTW ( USA ) but I still have problem with magnesis so I cannot pass the first dungeon.
Also I cannot swim ( i just walk at the bottom, not swimming ).

Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

EDIT : will try to download it from scratch and remove dlc tonight

--------------

Also, just to confirm, after download the game ( game + dlc + update ), I can just replace update to game folder, then
dlc to game folder right? Or I should use specific program?
EDIT : I think I did it in wrong way after read few pages before this pages. Will try it tonight :

-------------

Half link in the screen

EDIT : some people said I have to regenerate shader my self. So I guess I just need to delete everything, and not using someone else transferable shader, right?

Not friend, was not to overlap the update and dlc files by the game files, you will have to delete your game and download everything again, updates and dlc enter the emulator folder in a specific path, to put updates and dlc into your correct folders easily use this program.

https://github.com/Tsume/Maple-Tree

PS: Remember to lower your game again because you have mended the files now you have already lost them, use Wii U usb helper.

CMIIW, so I just need to unpack it again right? then used the maple tree to combine it. I did that before but I got strange red screen when i started the game.
But I will try again tonight.

At the WiiU USB Helper check the unpak option during download, be it update, game or dlc you just need the folders, code, content and meta, any files besides this can be deleted because they are encrypted files that have already been decrypted.

For update and dlc I recommend that you use the MapleSeed Version 1

So i understand you've mixed the update and dlc files with the game files, if it did say goodbye to your game, you should delete it and download it again, a.bsolutely nothing should be mixed with the game

Oh version 1? Hmm ok, will try it tonight mate. I think I will try to redo everything from scratch including the cemu and shader. Hopefully I dont need to redownload everything again, but I just need to repack it, because re download it took a long time with my internet connection. But CMIIW, in my understanding, I have this :
- Game files + update + dlc ( Dont remember the detail ) --> from WII USB helper
- Game files + update + dlc --> unpack from downloaded game files ( from WII USB helper ) --> maybe this one is screw up, so I need to delete this one and unpack it again and then use mapple seed
If this one is not working, I will try to download it again from WII USB helper
