Homebrew Safehax black screen 100% of the time N3DSXL 11.2.0-35

Soundhax works about 40% of the time.
Fasthax works 100% of the time.
Safehax doesn't work 100% of the time.
There is a game cartridge inserted.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, that didn't work. Is there a safehax alternative?

Things to try:

• Redownload the files
• Try another SD card
• Test all your SD cards with H2testw and only use ones that pass a full read and write check.
• Accept that your console is faulty in some way or you are making a mistake that you're not going to figure out.
• Buy another N3DS on 10.7 or less (I think), and use the old method of downgrading it via sysupdater. Either sell your current console or use the now hacked one to do the old DSiWare downgrade method.

Redownloaded, tried multiple sd cards, did the tests. I wish I would have known that 11.2.0-35 had safehax problems before I bought it :/ Would have saved me the headache. Now I have to try and sell it for what I paid for it.

Shot in the dark, but I was at that same version as you when I went to install A9LH, and I had no problems, nor do I remember needing to boot fasthax at any point.

However I used Hyoretsu's guide, and the files provided there, rather than THE HOLY GUIDE.

I think it uses an older version of safehax that came combined with fasthax, or something. I honestly have no clue. I only remember never needing to boot fasthax. It also wasn't 100% rate of booting safehax, so try a bunch of times before giving up.

I'm sure people will have a problem suggesting outdated methods but it may work for you (that guide was successful for me 4 times). As you can see from the poll in that thread, there were several success stories. Also don't use the video guide there, just stick to the text.

Okay, I just got basehaxx to work. Can I proceed as if I just booted safehaxx? Also, thanks Kromlech I will try that if this doesnt work.
