Hardware Switch arrives tomorrow. Upgrade Firmware or Don't?

So my Switch arrives tomorrow and I am wondering if I should upgrade the firmware or keep it at the stock version? Hoping for exploits to allow unsigned code and future homebrew, etc.

update, because hacker will work on the latest instead of working on 1.0 where no one is on.

I guess you'll be forced to update to play newer games, like all systems often do.

And yeah, if an exploit is discovered, it'll probably also work on never firmwares as Nintendo can't fix it as long as no one reveal it.

buy 2 consoles, keep one in the box (open it just to make sure it works)
you can use the switch in the box as extra parts (you now own 4 joy cons and 2 tv box things for your deepest desires)

You aren't seeing a CFW/Exploit any time soon. Just sitting on the system waiting for a hack is a waste of money.

2.0.0 seems don't have any correction of the 1.0.0 plus you have the browser on it. I recommand to all people having a Switch to update on the 2.0.0 and wait until a hack will be find.

Just update it to V2.00. Seriously no point keeping it at 1.00, unless you got money to burn and buy a 2nd console.

And only game I care about is a new F-Zero. So no reason to update anyway.

Dosen't seems to have. The Hotspot functionnality (so the browser) was implemented on the 2.0.0

Since 2.0 is a day one update, might as well get that. I doubt there were any exploits in 1.0 that don't also exist in 2.0. Plus you're gonna want the browser applet and micro SDXC support.

I understand Nintendo have to pay a licence fee each time support is requested to microsoft as XC cards use the exfat file system.

Updated mine to v2.00, then turned off Automatic Updates in the System Settings.

2.0 fixed lots of bugs, so I would recommend downloading. My joy-con never experienced any connection problem.

Is the SDXC an all in one update? I purchased a 64gb, but will say a 256gb work later on or need another update?

And thanks everyone, updated Switch to 2.0FW. Just need my 64gb MC (arrives Wednesday) for the SDXC update and no then no more updating!
