Homebrew How do I update my GodMode9, Decrypt9, and Hourglass9?

There's a new update for those but I don't have a clue how to update them. Is there an update option in the apps itself? Or do I need to do something else? Help!

easiest way is to simply download new versions. Fun way is to build them yourself. See in my sig for setting up your build environment. All of those programs are maintained on GitHub.com/d0k3

You download them from their respective links:

Go into releases on the GitHub and get the latest zip (not source).
The one that ends in .bin is what you will replace in the luma/payloads on your SD card (assuming you have Luma).
There is no way to do this automatically as far as I know.

So I only need copy the new .bin file and replace the older one to update my apps? Do I need to rename it after or not?

Yes, replace them and rename them to x_Decrypt9WIP.bin or whatever.

I use this. It allows you to update payloads from your 3DS as well as define their paths and naming schemes in a configuration file.

I didn't noticed that, everyone i checked out seem to be the same name.
